Horden in Bloom Committee is a group of volunteers in need of more people.

Many hands make less work!

The committee enters Horden for the annual  'Northumbria in Bloom Awards'

In 2007 Horden achieved:

A GOLD award - for the Bloomin' Marvellous campaign in the best voluntary project category

A SILVER GILT award - for Horden Welfare Park in the best park in town category

A SILVER GILT award - for Cotsford Infants School in the best horticultural school project category

A BRONZE award - for Horden in the best town section

Horden and Easington Colliery Regeneration Partnership:

Members of the Partnership are residents, business people, agency representatives and councillors.  Some take an interest by attending the regular meetings others get actively involved in delivering regeneration projects, fundraising and representing the group.

If you are interested in finding out more on what you can offer the Regeneration Partnerships in Horden and Easington Colliery and what the Partnership can offer you, contact Project Manager, Michael Fishwick on 0797 0500 824

or call in at Easington Social Welfare Centre, Mon - Thurs 9am - 5pm or Fri 9am - 4.30pm
